Activity Database
The briefing, design & commissioning tool for both new-build and refurbishment of healthcare buildings
Activity DataBase is a briefing and design package with an integrated textual and graphical database, an interface with AutoCAD and an extensive graphical library.

The complete tool for briefing and design of the healthcare environment.

ADB is endorsed by the Department of Health and the NHS preferred briefing and design system. It has been developed to assist in the construction, briefing development, design and alteration of healthcare facilities.

Spaces designed using ADB data automatically comply with Department of Health Estates and Facilities guidance (such as Health Building Notes (HBNs) and Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs), as ADB data generation forms an integral part of the publication process. Users can create their own project-specific briefs and designs using the extensive library of integrated graphics and text which includes room data sheets, room layouts, and departmental room schedules, based on Schedules of Accommodation produced as part of the Department of Health guidance programme.

ADB is the only briefing and design system with an integrated textual and 2D and 3D graphical database distributed on behalf of the Department of Health.
